Car Hire Sydney Airport
Sydney Airport is located 6 miles to the south of the city of Sydney.
The International and Domestic terminals are connected by an underground service referred to as Airport Link.
There are three car parks at the airport for both short term and long term stay, although they vary in routes of access, with the International Terminal Car Park being situated on the Arrivals floor of the terminal building. Shuttles link the car parks to the terminals and valet parking options are also available. Car rental office desks can be found on the Arrivals level where bookings can be made on the spot or in advance based on your own preferences.
The Tourism NSW Information Desk can be found on floor 1 of the International Terminal Arrivals, and operates late into the night. Information on the airport itself can be saught from Gold Ambassadors which have set up their desks throughout the airport building.
It is possible to find Bureaux de change and ATMs in multiple locations at the airport, and a post office is situated in the International Terminal. There are a number of internet booths in the terminal buildings and Wi-Fi is also an option.
A brilliant assortment of bars, cafes and restaurants can be found at the airport which specialise in numerous types of cuisine. An impressive 150 shops and retail outlets have been set up at the airport, offering everythiung from fashion items to wine and speciality goods.
Left-luggage facilities are managed by Smarte Carte, and canbe found at the Arrivals level of the International and Domestic terminal. Queries about lost or stolen property can be made on level 3 of the International Terminal at the 'property office'.
The airport has also made provision for medical services, shower rooms and a prayer room, as well as childrens activity centres. Baby changing rooms and child-sized toilets are another special feature at the airport.
Business and Conference services are hired out by Sydney Airport Executive Services at both terminals, including meeting and function rooms as well as VIP Suites. Catering services are also provided by the same facility. A range of essential technical and communication equipment is provided including projectors, screens, whiteboards and flipcharts. Furthermore, it is possible to request special use of AV equipment and sound systems.
The airport has made various arrangements to assist disabled passengers at the airport, including special toilets, ramps, showers as well as telephones at low height and fitted with induction loops. Badge holders can freely take up the disabled parking spaces reserved at the front of the International Terminal. Wheelchairs are also provided but it is recommended that you consult your airline provider for any further needs.
