Car Hire Brisbane Airport

Brisbane airport is located in Queensland, Australia, 8 miles to the northeast of Brisbane. The airport can be reached via train using the Airtrain service at Brisbane Central Station, or through bus or taxi.

There are options for both short-term and long-term parking facilities available for domestic and international terminals. It is also possible to hire a car from one of the many car rental service providers located in the arrivals hall.

Located on level 2 in the arrivals area is the Visitors Information Centre, where the International Terminal is situated. There are a few information desks in the domestic terminal building as well, and can be found on the ground floor.

Bureaux de change facilities as well as ATMS have been set up on levels 2, 3 and 4 in the international terminal building and on level 2 in the domestic terminal. Internet can be accessed throughout the building as are payphones which operate on a card or coin basis.

The airport has a wide range of cafes and bars and a variety of shops alongside a duty-free which can be found in the International Terminal.

In the case of losing or misplacing your luggage, you can contact one of the lost property offices located in the domestic and international terminal buildings. However, in the interests of security, the airport has not made provision for left-luggage facilities.

Moreover, the airport has set up a first aid room to assist in the case of minor accidents and injuries. Baby changing rooms are available throughout the building and the international terminal also contains prayer room which operates on a non-denominational basis. Showers are an additional facility in both terminals.

Internet kiosks have been set up where internet facilities can be accessed by those in need, a special preference of business travellers. Although the airport itself does not have conference facilities, the Novotel Brisbane Airport hotel is a brilliant option of meetings and conferences for business passengers although booking in advance is recommended.

The airport has been designed to cater to special needs of disabled travellers. Ramps and lifts allow special access to all floors, the toilets can accommodate wheelchairs and the international terminal has special shops and dining facilities for the disabled. Parking spaces are also reserved for the disabled.
